my story

For me, ceramics is all about slowing down.

My story has a lot of ups and downs. By the time I was in my early 30s, I lost both of my parents to cancer. While that’s only part of my journey, it’s served as a reminder to find beauty in the now. It brought me closer to the family and friends I still have, and it changed the way I experience the world by making everything feel a little more precious.

This is what I hope to share with you through my work. I hope my mugs give you the opportunity to savor the warmth of the drink in your hands, my candles encourage you to close your eyes and relish the spicy scent of cinnamon, and my vases make you want to stop and get yourself some flowers, just because.
